The transition from summer to fall always brings about peculiar weather. This past week has been hot, and I mean 100ºF hot. Weird right? All of the shops are selling fall clothing, but here in the Bay Area it’s still summer! Because of the recent weather, I’ve been sticking to simple tees and skirts and pairing them with my Salt Water sandals, which are super comfy. I totally recommend them!
Before school started, I purchased a Madewell tote that I had been eyeing for quite some time. I was quite hesitant to buy it at first because of its costly price. It’s a lot of money for a high school student to spend! However, I decided to go for it because I wanted a purse that would last for the rest of high school, college, and beyond. Although I am known in my family for being a prudent shopper, I think that quality is very important to take account when purchasing something. For purses and shoes, I would rather spend a little more knowing that it will last me years, rather than purchasing something inexpensive that will break within a few months.
How is the weather where you live? Is it getting cool enough to be considered “sweater weather”? Also, do you have any rules or standards when it comes to shopping?
With love,
Blaze Ann
